Description

We now offer these direct replacement, bolt in (no modifications necessary) aluminium fuel tanks for 1964-68 Ford Mustang. They are EFI ready and also will work for carburetted applications. The tanks have extra capacity over a factory tank of this model, similar to the shape of a 69-70 tank - protruding higher into the boot area. A version of this tank is available in the original capacity (60L ) that does not protrude into the boot area - contact us for details.

  • Internally baffled and sumped for fuel control
  • 3mm TIG welded aluminium construction
  • Direct bolt in fit (bolts in using supplied hardware rather than original self tapping screws)
  • Suitable for EFI or carburetted applications
  • Designed to accept RetroFuel pumps plus others upon request
  • Complete with modern tube type sending unit (available in different ohm ranges)
  • Capacity: 78L
  • Billet fuel filler neck connects to existing factory filler 
  • Powder coated as standard
  • 2 x -6 ORB inlets (block off plugs supplied)
  • 2 x -8 ORB outlets (block off plugs supplied)
